SYFY Channel cancels another great series. ;-(
Good news is Amazon picks it up for S4. But does that mean no downloadable format will be offered ... such as iTunes? Amazon currently allows no downloadable subscriptions or purchase for film content.
The Ring Builders have quite a few names (Ring Builders, alien civilization, hive-minded aliens, Gate makers, Creators, etc.), which, I believe, requires that we set up a naming convention. How about we call them the Precursors from now on? I only see it fitting since they were the precursor civilization to humanity and colonized an area 1,000-ly wide long before Earth developed what is to be considered complex life.
Just finished Persepolis, and there is a line at the end I'm trying to make sense of. Naomi, talking to Alex, says:
"Or on Marais, when he went into the cliffs so we wouldn't run out of water?"
But for the life of me I don't know what she is talking about. I don't think it's from a Novella. Anyone care to enlighten me?
Season 3 is due to arrive soon. While no premiere date is known yet, We do know that coverage of Caliban's War will be completed, likely the conclusion will coincide with episode 6. As I recently did for Persepolis Rising, I want to piece together all the potential wiki pages that need to be included on this wiki. It'll serve to publicize not just what missing but also serve as an index to other information introduced from Caliban's War.
This will be considered the fourth in a series of lists on topics which need articles from Caliban's War. This is a list of articles in the "Characters" category. The full list of categories for Persepolis Rising can be found here.
If you want to help our The Expanse fan community, check this list and add content to these articles. If the article doesn't exist yet, please create it.
If you have questions on naming conventions or formats, please refer to the manual of style, compare with existing articles, and ask here.
Below, you will see the list of characters. Where possible, describe the physical characteristics, the allegiances, the full name, the title, the position/role, the relationships, backstory, and incidents which the character impacted another character or event.
Can someone start filling a new article out?

So , I'm just trying to figure out what really happened in the end of BA. Is there a kinetic energy limit in the Slow Zone?
In the final conversation between Duarte and Holden in Persepolis Rising, Duarte suggests that the weird alien ball thing is related to the "missing ships". By "missing ships" does he mean the ships that disappear when traveling through the rings if too much/mass and energy is/has gone through them?
I was under the impression that the overload of the rings that causes ships to disappear was a natural consequence of ring gate usage, not some kind of alien sabotage.
Thoughts?

This is the fifth in a series of topics which need new articles. This is a list of articles in the "Conflicts and Confrontations" or "Events" category. The full list of categories for Persepolis Rising can be found here.
Events in the story seldom have a standard name. That will make choosing the title for your article tricky. Here you will see a sketch of some key events.
If you want to help our The Expanse fan community, check this thread and use the comments to help describe and name major events.
Try to help build a consensus for how some important events should be named. Try to collect lists of key facts and details about each event. Once a consensus is reached and the description of an event is stable, please create and edit the article.

The title says it all. Now that the Interplanetary War has concluded and the CF was victorious, do you think a final unification between all human powers is possible in the near future of the series? The superpowers are hardly superpowers anymore. Both the UN and MCR and were left immensely damaged by the war. A Belt Union is to be established under the guidance of the two human powers. Although the FN is history, all of Sol still has one common enemy: Laconia. Hell, the Ring Builders and/or the Destroyers themselves might appear and militarily engage humanity. Will that unite humanity under one banner?
Fan art:
I also thought about creating a flag for such a union. Couldn't settle on one design, but I managed to narrow it down to two. What do you think?

So Fred has been one my favorite characters in the series, maybe even my favorite. Was anyone else very underwhelmed by his death "scene". The way that he dies is fine, but we didnt get any great last words or something to put a stamp on his arc. He was a great leader, and eventhough he was flawed, i would have liked a much grander send off than just a little self refelection time by avasarala. I mean come on, he wasnt a main 4 character, but he was pretty damn major.
Any thoughts?
