Anton Trejo is the High Admiral of the Laconian Imperial Navy and Laconian Naval Command.
Description[]
Trejo is a short, stocky man with bright green eyes and thinning black hair. His Mariner Valley drawl is nearly imperceptible, but becomes more pronounced when he is angry.

As the most decorated officer of the Laconian Imperial Navy, Trejo has a career that stretches back to pirate hunting for the Martian Congressional Republic Navy since before the Ring network opened.[1]
Anton Trejo, then a lieutenant in the MCRN, joined Commander Winston Duarte's breakaway Martian fleet on their trip through the Laconia gate. Thirty years later, Admiral Trejo commanded the battlecruiser Heart of the Tempest which led the first wave of the Laconian Expeditionary Force into the slow zone and then Sol system.[2]
Unknown to Governor Santiago Singh of Medina Station, Trejo gave standing orders to Major Overstreet when he was serving as Santiago Singh's security officer.[3]
Trejo successfully is able to conquer the Sol system and became governor of the system.[4]

After the Tecoma gate test effectively incapacitates Duarte, Trejo is rushed to Laconia where he becomes the de facto leader of the Empire.[5] Trejo, Colonel Ilich, Elvi Okoye and Paolo Cortázar work to keep Duarte's incapacitation as secret while looking for a cure that would return him to his normal mental state, as well as maintain the Empire and their control over humanity.

Admiral Trejo orders Colonel Aliana Tanaka to find Duarte after he disappears from Laconia.[6]
As pressure mounts with the Underground-Laconia Conflict and in trying to maintain the Laconian Empire without Duarte, Trejo reaches out to Naomi Nagata to establish a truce and make the Underground a new version of the Transport Union.[7]. Naomi recognized that his attempt was a ruse and that Laconia would never relinquish or share control of the human colonized systems.
