Antony Dresden was the head of biological research of the protomolecule with Protogen.

 Biography[]

Throughout the series[]

In "Critical Mass", Dresden leads the Black Ops team on Eros that studies the corpse of Julie Mao in her hotel room. After taking several samples of the protomolecule from her body, he orders the team to lock down the station and initiate the Eros Incident.

In "Leviathan Wakes", Dresden and his team leave the station as the infection spreads. He is later seen viewing the results on monitors from his ship as it departs.

In "Doors & Corners", when the OPA boarding party raids the facility on Thoth Station, Dresden is found reviewing data gathered from the incident on Eros. Once Dresden realizes that Fred Johnson has no interest in the scientific merits of the project, he offers to provide Johnson with a list of the people involved in the project. His condition for the information is that he be allowed to continue his work without restrictions. When Johnson appears to agree, Miller shoots Dresden in the head, instantly killing him.

Personality[]

Like the other scientists on the project, Dresden was obsessed with the potential of the protomolecule. Completely devoid of empathy, he saw the people involved in the project as mere assets... and the victims of his experiments as mere stepping stones to its completion.

Dresden cared nothing for the politics or outrage swirling around his actions. He stated outright that he didn't care who ran his project, as long as he was able to continue his work without interruption or restrictions.
