Cas Anvar is a Canadian actor of Iranian origin. He portrayed spaceship pilot Alex Kamal on the first five seasons of The Expanse.
Background
Cas is best known for his voice work in a variety of video games. Most prominently, he has been featured in the Assassin's Creed series. He had a recurring role (4 episodes) in the 3rd season (2016) of the FX TV series The Strain. Anvar's big break came with his role in the Cruise/Wagner film "Shattered Glass" (2003). Cas Anvar is represented by Glenn Talent Management.[1]
Following over 30 allegations of sexual harassment and assault made against Anvar, The Expanse production company Alcon Entertainment hired an independent firm to investigate in June 2020.[2] In November 2020 Alcon announced that Anvar would not be returning for the sixth and final season of The Expanse.

Trivia
- He has indicated that he is friends with Elias Toufexis, probably by way of his voice acting work. After Elias had finished working on the show with season one, Cas encouraged the producers to employ him again for his motion capture work for season two.
