Sergeant Chandra Wei was a security officer for Royal Charter Energy that was sent to the planet New Terra on the Edward Israel.

Background[]
Wei served as a sergeant in RCE security under Adolphus Murtry. After the massacre of Reeve and his security team, she accompanied Murtry to Ilus, replacing Reeve as Murtry's second-in-command. She notably escorted Holden and Elvi to investigate an energy spike on the planet, which turned out to be a malfunctioning ancient robot. Wei shot the robot until it was destroyed. She later helps Murtry and the rest of the security team kill the terrorist cell responsible for the heavy shuttle destruction and the massacre of Reeve's team.
During the apocalyptic storm that swept the planet after one of its nuclear reactors blew up, Wei forms a bond with Amos. Despite this, she accompanies Murtry in an attempt to stop Holden from deactivating the planet's defenses, and refuses to back down when confronted by Amos. As a result, Amos is forced to shoot her dead.
