A millennium after James Holden destroyed the Ring network to stop the Unknown Aggressors, Dobridomov sent the Musafir to Earth to make contact with the ancestral home of Humanity. Marrel Imvic, a linguist on the diplomatic team, made first contact with the Earthers and their leader Amos Burton.[1]
