Jakulski was one of the techs that installed the rail gun defense network on the ring station.[1]
He is asked by Shului, his supervisor, to represent the tech department in greeting Winston Duarte's advisory group visiting Medina Station. Jakulski eventually agrees to take Shului's place although he would rather attend an after-shift gathering with his peers in the tech team.[2]
