The Jerusalem gate is a wormhole gate, part of an ancient network built by the Ring Builders. It connects the Jerusalem system to the Slow Zone.

This gate leads to the Jerusalem system, which was colonized by humans after this ancient network of wormhole gates was re-established by the Ring Station.
This Ring gate is one of those where a ship went Dutchman while in transit through the gate into the system from the Slow Zone.[1]
