Dr. Kane was an activist with "Aid Without Allegiance" seeking to provide humanitarian aid to the victim-survivors of Eros.
Biography[]
“You can't go home” — Shortly after the Eros incident, Dr. Kane joined Dr. Mesplede and other members of the humanitarian organisation "Aid Without Allegiance" as crewmembers aboard the Marasmus. They departed Pallas station on an emergency mission to Eros to aid the survivors on the station.
While on Eros, Dr. Kane, was able to hack an airlock and enter, discovering the protomolecule. He was infected while trying to gather a sample and died near the airlock.[1]
