Laconia Capital City is the primary city of the planet Laconia and the capital of the Laconian Empire, where its government and State building are located.
History[]
The city was originally a research colony designed to last for only five years. When the Laconian Empire was formed, the new authorities expanded it into an actual town. The new government began by installing new barracks, town square, military housing, and a fusion plant.[1]

Thirty years later the town has expanded into a full city with its own University that covered over forty hectares.[2] The city also holds the Nation's government with the State Building of Laconia where High consul Winston Duarte resides. According to Duarte's vision, the city is massively over-dimensionalized with much of its architecture being ridiculously oversized for the current population, with much of the space unused. This is in preparation for the expected future masses of immigrants and native Laconians, which should be populated in a never before seen re-concentration of humans into the new imperial capital of an empire that spans over all humanity.

Following the Laconia-Sol Conflict, millions of people had moved to the capital city. Even celebrities, business, and scientific research institutes had all moved. It was possible with the prebuilt facilities and estates offered by the Laconia empire and the push by Winston Duarte to move the center of humanity away from the Sol system and to the Laconia system.[3]
The Capital city includes the Association of Worlds headquarters at the center of the city with even the Transport Union central authority located to a minor building.
