Season 3[]

Reload[]

Loftis was aboard the MCRN Kittur Chennamma when it was surprise attacked by a United Nations Navy ship, which instantly severed the ships command deck from the rest of the vessel. Railgun shots penetrated the remainder of the ship, causing it to decompress and kill the remaining personnel on board.

However, Loftis along with Ensigns Sinopoli and Ranhofer were grabbed by a lieutenant and sealed in an electrolysis chamber (used to produce oxygen) to survive. Although the lieutenant died from his injuries, the other three clung to life until they were rescued by James Holden and the crew of the Rocinante. Initially believing they had been saved by fellow Martians, they quickly realized they were aboard the stolen Tachi and were informed by Holden, they could not leave their quarters.

Whilst confined to the medical bay, Loftis aggressively insults Alex Kamal, suggesting he had betrayed Mars and didn't deserve to wear the uniform. Sinopoli and Ranhofer then attacked Alex, whilst Loftis took his pistol and declared they were going to take over the ship. Heading up to the ops deck, she holds Naomi Nagata at gunpoint whilst Ranhofer looks for weapons in the armoury. However, he is attacked and neutralized by James Holden. She demands they set course for Callisto, where they can rejoin the MCRN fleet headed to Jupiter. When Bobbie Draper appears to diffuse the situation, Sinopoli immediately surrenders, seeing that Draper is wearing Martian Marine Corps Force Recon uniform and could easily take them all out. However, Loftis remains angrily defiant, holding the gun to Alex's head and accusing Draper of also being a traitor. It is only after Draper is able to talk and sympathize with her, that she finally surrenders the weapon, realizing that the crew of the Rocinante are not her true enemy.

Later, along with Sinopoli and Ranhofer, Loftis departs from the Rocinante aboard a partially repaired Kittur Chennamma, headed to send a message from Chrisjen Avasarala to the MCRN Jupiter fleet.
