Marrel is from the Dobridomov system and is a crew member of the Musafir. He speaks more than a dozen of languages, including Chinese and Common English.

A thousand years after the destruction of the Ring network, Marrel and a diplomatic team traveled to Earth to reestablish contact with the Sol system. On Earth he encountered Amos Burton, a leader of the remnants of humanity in the system.[1]
