Namono "Nami" Volovodov is the daughter of Russian pastor Annushka Volovodov and her Ugandan wife Nono. Nami is named after Nono, whose real name is also Namono.
Biography[]
Nami has distinct physical attributes inherited from each of her mothers suggesting that she is the result of engineering using genetic material from both (likely a similar technology that allowed James Holden to be the genetic descendant of five fathers and three mothers).
She spent her early childhood growing up on Europa and then on Earth, however she emigrated to Eudoxia with mothers after the Free Navy Conflict on the colony ship Abdel Rahman Badawi.[1]
After the Ring network collapsed, Nami is stranded on the planet Jannah. There, she serves as an administrator for a settlement called Beta, which houses 436 people including Filip Nagata.[2]
