Nanoinformatics is the application of informatics to nanotechnology.
Nanoinformatics is an interdisciplinary field that uses the study of computational systems, especially those for data storage and retrieval, to develop methods and software tools for understanding nanomaterials, their properties, and their interactions with biological entities. It allows the use of high-throughput data-driven methods to analyze broad sets of experimental results, and is similar to cheminformatics and bioinformatics.
