Corporal Sa'id was a member of the Martian Marine Corps and Bobbie Draper's squad. He was killed on Ganymede.
Overview[]
Personality[]
His sexuality is homosexual. He has an appreciation for classical Schubert. Referring to Lieutenant Sutton, Sa'id is known to have said, "I would do him if he buttered his bread on the same side as me."
Relationships[]
Biography[]
Throughout the series[]
In "Safe", during the opening scene of the season, Sa'id calls out tactics to Private Hillman and Private Travis. When they are informed it was the last exercise and they should say their goodbyes, he is the one to inform Travis that Hillman's family owns all the terraformers.
When Hillman and Travis argue over who is more Martian, Sa'id defends Travis with a conspicuous remark about how many siblings Hillman has.
Notes[]
- This character is somewhat of an amalgamation of two separate characters from the book incarnation. The character named "Sa'id" was not a member of Bobbie Draper's squad. Rather, there was a Private by the name of Gourab instead. The character whose name was Sa'id reported to another unspecified officer but likely in the chain of command under Lieutenant Givens. In the books, Sa'id would've been the operator of Yojimbo, the giant combat mech.
