sabaka

Noun[]

sabaka

  1. bitch, prostitute

Etymology[]

Russian собака "dog"

Notes[]

Does not have to be directed at a person; can be used as a simple expression of surprise, dismay, or realization (note usage by Anderson Dawes, S1E06 11:54).

Can also be used when attempting some risky action, as when trying a dubious beverage (Diogo, S1E02 29:19) or engaging in a slingshot maneuver (Bizi Betiko, S1E04 13:59).

Despite its etymology, does not mean "dog" in Lang Belta; koyo is as close as you can get to that.

Drummer was saying "Sabaka Fo Mama" aka "suka" which is the B word equivalent in Russian. Not just dog.[Citation needed]

  • from the comment below episode "The One-Eyed Man" (S04E08). Fred meets Ashford and Drummer at Medina. Drummer punches Fred straight away in the face and moments later she hisses that _Sabaka Fo Mama. You sold us out_ phrase.
