In "Salvage", Sam is responsible for cracking MCRN encryption on the Donnager's battle report data cube which was recovered from the armor of Lt. K. Lopez by Fred Johnson

  • The books give this character the name Samara however the credits for this character on the television show the name "Samantha Rosenberg"[1][2]
  • The books start referring to the character as "Samantha" on occasion as well at the end of Abaddon's Gate and the beginning of Nemesis Games
  • Watching the episode "Windmills", the credit appears for Alli as Sam but any actual scenes appear to have been cut. There are only a couple remaining scenes pertaining to the data cube with Sam in "Salvage".
  • It appears some of the aspects Sam's relationship with Naomi were transferred to Drummer in the TV series. Since Samantha only appears briefly and Drummer has a close relationship with Naomi on Tycho.
