Santichai and his wife, are a couple who are using their ship, the Weeping Somnambulist to provide relief supplies on Ganymede for survivors.
He is married to Melissa Suputayaporn and the two normally ship food from Ganymede station to Ceres. Now with the disaster there and the loss of 3 out of 5 domes, they have gotten the Somnambulist classified as a relief freighter and are hauling a load of food supplies to Ganymede. He was killed in crossfire by presumably friendly fire.

- Santichai's last name (and his wife's) was changed subtly to "Suputayaporn" ("i" changed to "u")[1] for the TV series from the book series for unknown reasons.
